This week has been all about potty training and it was a success! We are out of diapers and into Yo Gabba Gabba underwear WAHOO!
I found time to play with Citrus Twist June's scrapbook kit and I can not tell you how much I love this kit.

Citrus Twist Kit
I got my June Citrus Twist Kit today WAHOO and I must say I'm in love! The main kit is filled with so much goodiness and got the embellishment & more paper too. Another added plus with this kit was a colored sheet filled with layouts from their DT. I know you can see this on their blog but it's nice to have in front of you when you are scrapbooking. I can't wait to scrapbook with this kit.
Today I finished a Father's Day layout I did for hubby and Maddie. I incorporated an art project she did in art class. I loved the art project because it was basically a take on walking on the sidewalk, it has her footprints in different colors and the colors match with the shirt she was wearing in the photos.
Here is the full layout:
These are some of my favorite photos I have recently taken.
I'm taking Big Picture Class: "Finding your Photo Style" class right now, and enjoying the different styles I'm learning from the six teachers/photographers. I basically signed up for the class because Maggie Holmes. I also signed for their "The Phone Photography Project". I really went back and forth on this class but with the special they were giving and the additional coupon I found online, I decided to take the class. I don't take much photos with my camera except for occasionally instagram/ FB photo. Another reason is I have a Galaxy and was afraid the class was going to focus mainly on the iphone. But after getting feedback I decided to take the class and hopefully I'll learn to use my camera phone more.

Dinner
Tonight we celebrated my husband's birthday with one of his favorite dishes. I found this recipe a few years back from Martha Stewart and did some tweaks to it, it's so easy and so yummy!
I'm loving the A Beautiful Mess app! Unfortunately, I have a android so I can't use it with my phone but I love using it with my IPad. The best 99 cents spent.
M had fun singing Happy Birthday to her daddy and the cupcakes weren't bad either.
And here is the handmade card she made for him.
She is a future scrapbooker and can master punches, the big shot and glitter glue.

Hello
Yes, it's been awhile ... How are you? Since my last post we have traveled to Vietnam and took a road trip to Toronto. I've just been spending precious time with my toddler and boy does she keep me busy. I do get some "me" time when everyone has settled in for the night and i've been busy working on our Vietnam scrapbook (I'll share soon) and some scrapbook layouts.
Here are a few that I have done recently, using various products from Studio Calico kits.
This layout was inspired by a layout from Maggie Holmes.
Do you notice the orange 12x12 WRMemory Keepers album in the back of the layouts? I got these at Michael's for $7.99. Such a great score I had to get two and the page protectors were under $2. Love a great deal!
I've also cancelled my subscription with SC and recently joined Citrus Twist. I'm currently on the WL for their June kit and crossing fingers and toes that I get a kit, they look amazing! They have a sketch challenge starting today, I be working on my interpretation and sharing it soon.
